Free D&D 5e DM screen: the DM Table Corner

Everything a Dungeon Master reaches for while running a game at the table, in one screen. It saves in your browser as you go, so there’s no account and nothing to sign up for.

  • Initiative tracker. Roll for the monsters (one roll per group, as the Player’s Handbook says), add players by name and initiative, and step through turns and rounds. Conditions count down as each creature’s turn ends.
  • Monsters ready to fight. Search the SRD 5.1 or 5.2 bestiary and add one creature or a numbered pack, with average or rolled hit points. Each attack rolls to hit with advantage or disadvantage, and a natural 20 doubles the damage dice.
  • Saved encounters. Build fights ahead of time, with bestiary or homebrew creatures, hit points, initiative, conditions and notes, and load one into combat in a click, in any session or campaign.
  • Homebrew creatures. Make your own monsters and NPCs, with a full stat block and attacks ready to roll, without leaving the table, and add them to any fight or encounter.
  • Full stat blocks. Every trait, action, reaction and legendary action, with the dice, attack bonuses and recharges in the text ready to roll.
  • Your map. Upload a battle map or a world map, drop tokens for the party and the monsters, lay a grid over it and measure distances once it has a scale.
  • Travel calculator. Fast, normal and slow pace, forced marches with their Constitution saves, difficult terrain, a gallop on horseback and ships from the galley to the airship.
  • Encounter difficulty. The 2014 XP thresholds and encounter multipliers, counting the monsters already in the fight.
  • A campaign for each game. Keep every campaign apart: each has its own notes, fight, maps and players, so running two games never mixes them up.
  • Your story, by chapter and choice. Lay the campaign out chapter by chapter, branch a chapter for each way the party’s choice could go, and mark what’s playing now, done or not taken.
  • Notes and a session timer. Pages for session notes, NPCs, loot and plot hooks, saved as you type.

Planning ahead instead? Try the encounter calculator, look up monster stat blocks or the rules and conditions.
