Divination reveals what’s hidden: detecting magic and creatures, reading thoughts, seeing distant places and glimpsing what’s to come. Low on damage, high on information.
30 divination spells in the SRD, 2 of them cantrips; 14 need concentration and 12 can be cast as a ritual. In the 2014 rules, a School of Divination wizard copies these into a spellbook for half the usual time and gold.
